Description

The DUNGS VPS 504 S04 is a valve proving system for DMV series safety valves. It checks

that both safety shutoff valves in a DMV series gas train are fully closed before either a

system startup and/or after system shutdown when wired and interlocked to a suitable flame

safeguard control. The VPS will halt the startup sequence to a piece of gas burning

equipment if it detects an open safety shutoff valve, thus preventing ignition under dangerous

conditions.

Application

The VPS 504 S04 is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications. where

CE approval is required. The VPS is the means for proof of closure and normally open vent

line alternative. The VPS is required for CE compliance on system with capacities of 4.1 Mbtu
